$225 per entity, for one address
Plus any applicable sheriff’s office fees. In addition, each additional entity or address requires a separate $225 service charge, plus applicable sheriff’s office fees.
We offer a standard timeline only. Because of the paperwork involved, we organize the prepared documents for submission to the sheriff’s office before proceeding with service.
How the service works
- Email your request. First, tell us whether you need bank levy or wage garnishment service and provide the service address.
- Prepare your documents. Next, use the checklist below. For example, if the court provided an original writ with a wet-ink signature, we need that original document.
- Open the sheriff file. Then, we set up the assignment with the sheriff’s office serving the service address.
- Serve the documents. After the file is open, we serve the designated agent or bank location. Bank of America assignments are served through CT Corporation in Downtown Los Angeles.
- Complete service with the sheriff. Finally, we close out the service paperwork with the sheriff’s office. The sheriff then acts as the enforcement officer and handles the levy from that point forward.

This service is offered on a standard timeline only. For that reason, email us about the assignment and document requirements before placing an order.
Who handles enforcement after service?
After service, the sheriff is the enforcement officer. Once we complete service and the associated sheriff paperwork, the sheriff handles enforcement of the bank levy or wage garnishment.
Does $225 include sheriff’s fees?
No. The service charge covers one entity at one address. However, applicable sheriff’s office fees are additional.
