Request Recording ServiceLos Angeles recording services with JPL
JPL Process Service LLC coordinates Los Angeles recording services for prepared documents you provide. First, tell us the county, document type, page count, and deadline. We confirm availability, the submission method, and applicable fees before you order.
For example, clients may ask about recording an abstract of judgment, a lien release, or a property document. Acceptance depends on the county and document requirements. Therefore, contact our office before sending originals or electronic files.
Los Angeles recording services pricing
Walk-in recording: $125
The service fee excludes county recorder fees and advanced fees. Standard work starts in 2–3 days; however, this start window does not guarantee completed recording within that time.
E-recording: $75
The service fee excludes county recorder fees and advanced fees. Electronic recording is available only when the county and document qualify. Also, confirm the scope and all applicable charges before ordering.
*Does not include county recorder’s fees. Advanced fees are additional for both services.
Choose walk-in recording or e-recording
Walk-in recording provides an option when prepared originals need delivery to the recorder. In contrast, e-recording submits eligible documents electronically for county review. The recorder determines acceptance and processing for either method.
For details, visit JPL’s county recorder’s office service and e-recording services. If you have an urgent deadline, contact us first to confirm availability and fees.

Serving clients throughout Los Angeles County
We welcome recording requests from Los Angeles, Long Beach, Pasadena, Glendale, Burbank, Santa Clarita, Lancaster, Palmdale, Pomona, Downey, Norwalk, and Torrance. The recorder for the requested county handles review and acceptance. In addition, contact JPL about availability for assignments elsewhere in California.
Recording and enforcement are separate services
Recording a document is separate from serving a bank levy or wage garnishment. If your assignment also needs service, review our bank levy service or wage garnishment service. Then, email us so we can coordinate each requested assignment.
